Responsibilities
- Develop and implement forward-looking innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market transformations
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, Web3) for strategic integration
- Lead scenario planning workshops to anticipate socioeconomic shifts and regulatory impacts
- Partner with product teams to prototype breakthrough solutions addressing 2030 challenges
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive board and investor committees
- Build external innovation ecosystems through partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Mentor R&D teams in futurist methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, biotech, quantum)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent
- Experience scaling innovation in enterprise environments ($1B+ revenue)
