- Analyze horizon-scanning data (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market entry
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite decision-making under uncertainty
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-ready solutions
- Author strategic foresight reports for investor relations and product development teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
- Represent company at global tech summits and trend symposiums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy or trend analysis at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and pattern recognition abilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Kumu, Causal Mapping)
- Fluency in at least one additional language (Mandarin/Spanish/Japanese preferred)
