Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026+
- Develop and maintain a strategic innovation roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate scenario planning workshops to prepare for future market uncertainties
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Manage an innovation portfolio balancing high-risk moonshots with incremental improvements
- Establish KPIs to track innovation impact and ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful commercial initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Strong presentation skills with experience influencing C-level stakeholders
- Advanced degree in relevant field (Futures Studies, Business Strategy, Engineering, etc.)
- Published thought leadership or patents in innovation/futurism preferred
- Experience in fast-paced tech or healthcare industries
