Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic foresight framework for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead innovation workshops and hackathons to identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Analyze global megatrends and geopolitical shifts affecting industry landscapes
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Build and manage an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on future scenarios and innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis
- Strong presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
- Portfolio of published future scenarios or innovation strategies required
