Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, sociology, and economics to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish cross-functional innovation ecosystems with R&D, design, and engineering teams
- Produce actionable whitepapers and roadmaps for 2026-2030 technology adoption
- Mentor junior futurists and build thought leadership through industry conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and presentation mastery
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (required portfolio)
- Experience with AI, biotech, or quantum computing trend analysis
