Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, demographic shifts, and global megatrends with 5-10 year impact horizons
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks to help organizations prepare for future market disruptions and regulatory changes
- Translate complex foresight data into actionable strategic recommendations for C-suite executives
- Lead innovation workshops and future-state design sessions with cross-functional stakeholders
- Author thought leadership publications on future-of-work, AI ethics, and sustainable technology adoption
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and strategic communication techniques
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field; PhD preferred
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of published futurist research or strategic foresight projects
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists) strongly preferred
