Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ future scenarios using trend analysis, horizon scanning, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for emerging challenges
- Author thought leadership reports on disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate foresight into product development lifecycles
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops for executive teams on future-readiness
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future opportunities through risk assessment and scenario planning frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI ethics, biotech convergence, climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-impacting projects implemented by 2025
