Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-focused innovation strategy using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum, AR/VR)
- Secure strategic partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and global innovation labs
- Present quarterly innovation roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor innovation specialists and establish future-skills training programs
- Drive patent development for 10+ proprietary technologies annually
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and global tech summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy or R&D leadership within tech/defense/healthcare
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products (3+ years to market)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- PhD or Master's in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or MIT Tech Review
- Experience securing $1M+ in government/VC innovation funding
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Fluency in English and Mandarin for global stakeholder engagement
