Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends through 2026
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Chair cross-functional innovation workshops to ideate and prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into commercial offerings
- Present foresight findings to executive stakeholders and board members quarterly
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-driven resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation management, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related technical field
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar designation preferred
- Experience leading global teams across 3+ continents
- Publish thought leadership in futurist journals or industry platforms
- Deep understanding of geopolitical, economic, and ethical implications of 2026 trends
