Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable energy) and assess their commercial viability by 2026
- Develop and maintain a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory frameworks impacting future tech adoption
- Drive innovation culture through internal workshops and thought leadership initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, product development, or corporate innovation
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum/AI/biotech/sustainable tech)
- Proven track record of developing and executing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with specialization in innovation management
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (white papers, patents, or industry talks)
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
