Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI governance, and carbon-neutral tech systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives involving 15+ engineers and data scientists
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape studies for emerging technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with measurable ROI tracking
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, UT Austin)
- Drive adoption of ESG-compliant technology frameworks across product lifecycle
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful launches)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, AI ethics frameworks, or carbon capture tech
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or venture capital >$10M
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Strong Python/C++ proficiency with cloud architecture experience (AWS/Azure)
