Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology strategy for emerging domains (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to co-develop breakthrough technologies
- Develop ROI models for experimental technologies and secure executive buy-in for strategic investments
- Monitor global tech policy/regulatory landscapes to ensure compliance and identify opportunity windows
- Mentor R&D teams in agile development of futuristic proof-of-concepts
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with focus on emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining technology initiatives
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, space tech)
- Certified Innovation Architect or similar strategic foresight credential
- Executive presence with demonstrated success presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation management
