Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate risks
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting technology adoption
- Author thought leadership pieces on future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or AR/VR
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with international technology policy frameworks
- Portfolio of published future-tech analyses or patents
