Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, AR/VR integration, biotech convergence)
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive board and investors
- Oversee implementation of pilot programs for next-gen solutions
- Establish KPI frameworks measuring technological ROI and market disruption
- Mentor technical teams in future-oriented skill development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (AI, blockchain, IoT)
- Deep understanding of technological convergence patterns and market disruption
- Executive presentation experience with Fortune 500 audiences
- Published research in future technology trends or innovation strategy
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology forecasting
