Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market predictions and societal trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AR/VR, AI ethics frameworks)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations and assess their strategic impact
- Present technology visions to executive stakeholders and external partners through compelling narratives
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology deployment and risk mitigation
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation within the technology division
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or equivalent futurist experience
- Proven track record translating futuristic concepts into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and predict adoption curves
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals preferred
