Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, biotech integration)
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and regulatory landscapes
- Identify and evaluate emerging startups and academic research for strategic partnerships
- Present futuristic technology blueprints to C-suite and investor stakeholders
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible AI deployment and human-machine collaboration
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with measurable ROI on experimental projects
- Represent the company at global tech foresight forums and policy summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-tech initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI safety, or synthetic biology
- Portfolio of successfully launched future-focused products or research programs
- Proficiency in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and risk modeling
- Experience securing federal grants and corporate partnerships for frontier technologies
