Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026+ roadmap, aligning with business objectives
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) for commercial viability
- Develop scenarios for technological disruption and formulate contingency plans for market shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize technical insights into actionable strategic initiatives
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Monitor global tech policy developments and their potential impact on our strategic direction
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AI, quantum, blockchain, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology futures or innovation strategy
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley preferred)
