- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and evaluating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to position company as industry pioneer
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Oversee R&D initiatives and innovation incubators for future-facing projects
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Define KPIs and success metrics for technology adoption and innovation ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technologies or products
- Deep expertise in emerging tech domains (AI/ML, IoT, Web3, or similar)
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS Engineering, or equivalent)
- Portfolio demonstrating technology strategy implementation success
