Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems) and develop 5-year strategic implementation plans
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technology roadmaps with business objectives and market demands
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and identify disruptive opportunities in emerging markets
- Develop proof-of-concepts for futuristic technologies and present ROI projections to executive stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Author thought leadership content on technology futures and publish in industry journals
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, product development, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching futuristic technologies with measurable business impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., generative AI, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills for C-suite audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and futures forecasting methodologies
- Certifications in technology strategy (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP) or business innovation preferred
