Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics, sustainable tech)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling future-focused solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Drive R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Mentor technology teams on future-proof architecture and methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech adoption
- Proven track record in commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI governance, climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills for evaluating exponential technology trends
- Executive-level communication with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Experience leading global technology transformation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
