Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a 3-5 year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market predictions and business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for strategic implementation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Develop competitive intelligence frameworks to anticipate industry disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, with 5+ years in emerging tech evaluation
- Proven track record of launching technology initiatives that generated $10M+ revenue
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and future trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Professional certifications in technology strategy (e.g., CIO, TOGAF) preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or futurism
