- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead market research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor ecosystem for next-gen partnerships
- Champion ethical technology adoption and sustainable innovation practices
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-tech implementation methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in C-suite or VP-level roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with specialization in emerging tech
- Proven track record of scaling technology-driven organizations
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, neurotech, or climate-tech
- Certified in Future Tech Strategy (FTS) or equivalent innovation framework
- Demonstrated success in securing $10M+ R&D funding for experimental projects
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Technology journals
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
