Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions including quantum applications and neuro-interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-7 year commercialization potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present technology vision to C-suite and board of directors with compelling data-driven narratives
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and internal R&D initiatives
- Ensure ethical and sustainable integration of emerging technologies into product ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology product management
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and managing P&L for tech initiatives
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
