Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a 2026 technology strategy portfolio spanning AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and tech giants (Google Quantum, IBM Research)
- Develop patent roadblocks and IP defense strategies for emerging technology domains
- Present quarterly technology briefings to C-suite and board members with quantifiable ROI projections
- Mentor a 12-person innovation lab focused on solving humanity's grand challenges by 2026
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and regulatory shifts affecting innovation landscapes
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of strategic tech leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies with commercialization success
- Track record of scaling tech startups from concept to $100M+ valuation
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Fluency in technology forecasting frameworks (Delphi, Scenario Planning) with demonstrated accuracy
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding from government grants and venture capital
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Portfolio of 5+ patents in emerging technology domains
