Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech breakthroughs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption cycles
- Develop patent strategies for proprietary future-facing solutions
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and external stakeholders including government entities
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
- Author thought leadership pieces published in industry journals and tech forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology innovation or strategic foresight roles
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services with $50M+ impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI ethics, AR/VR, decentralized systems)
- Exceptional data modeling skills for predicting technology adoption curves
- Published research or patents in future technologies (IEEE, ACM, etc.)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on digital transformation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management
