As a key member of our R&D leadership team, you'll collaborate with world-class engineers, researchers, and business leaders to identify and capitalize on paradigm-shifting technologies. You'll shape our innovation pipeline, lead cross-functional initiatives, and present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and C-level executives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish industry partnerships for technology co-development and early adoption
- Author thought leadership content on future tech trends and their societal impacts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AI governance
- Proven track record of launching successful technology initiatives from concept to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience securing and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Exceptional presentation skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech and academic ecosystems
