Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for 2026 initiatives across quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and Fortune 500 companies for co-innovation
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-driven insights
- Champion ethical AI frameworks and sustainable technology adoption principles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching successful R&D initiatives with $10M+ budgets
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or decentralized systems
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ technical professionals
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
