You'll translate complex technological trends into actionable business strategies that accelerate growth while navigating ethical and regulatory considerations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology foresight framework for 2026+ innovation horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging tech opportunities and threats
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into development roadmaps
- Conduct competitive analysis and market sizing for emerging tech verticals
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor committees
- Build and nurture relationships with academic research labs and startup incubators
- Author thought leadership content on technology disruption scenarios
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Strategy
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems and venture capital
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic planning preferred
