Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional pods (engineering, design, data science) to prototype 2026-viable solutions
- Secure $10M+ annual R&D funding through stakeholder presentations and ROI modeling
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for emerging technologies
- Drive industry thought leadership through whitepapers and keynote presentations
- Mentor junior strategists and develop future-ready talent pipelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, or Web3 infrastructure
- Proven track record of scaling technology initiatives to $50M+ budgets
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Technology Strategy or equivalent (e.g., CTS, TOGAF)
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Technology journals preferred
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
