Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, bio-integrated systems)
- Design scalable innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and commercialization
- Partner with C-suite to integrate strategic technology initiatives into corporate vision
- Build and lead a high-performance innovation lab with global academic and industry partnerships
- Drive ethical technology governance frameworks and responsible AI implementation
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through strategic proposals and investor relations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record launching breakthrough technologies (3+ major projects)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication with ability to translate complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Experience securing institutional funding for experimental R&D initiatives
