Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, biotech convergence)
- Develop 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Conduct feasibility studies and ROI projections for breakthrough innovations
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of innovation partners, research institutions, and venture capital firms
- Author thought leadership content and present at industry conferences
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication abilities
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives or published research
