Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, nanotech) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D and product teams
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough technologies
- Present tech vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout emerging startups
- Author thought leadership reports on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Published research or patents in future technologies preferred
