Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 5+ year market potential (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture capital partners
- Present technology trend analyses to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for prototyping and pilot programs
- Build competitive intelligence frameworks for emerging tech landscape
- Patent-pending technology development and IP strategy execution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or venture capital
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Published research or patents in future technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional stakeholder management across executive and technical teams
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on technology adoption curves
