Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026-2030 horizon
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype next-gen solutions in our innovation lab
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research organizations
- Create whitepapers and thought leadership content positioning InnovateNext as a future-tech pioneer
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through compelling future-vision proposals
- Present strategic roadmap to C-suite and board with data-driven future scenarios
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature Futures, or similar
- Experience securing R&D funding from government/private sources
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
