- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, identifying emerging trends with 5-10 year market impact
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum AI integration and sustainable computing systems
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for cutting-edge R&D
- Present technology vision to C-suite and investors, translating complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor a team of 8+ researchers and engineers in experimental technology development
- Publish thought leadership in IEEE and Nature Technology Review
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ in emerging tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field
- Proven track record scaling AI/quantum prototypes to enterprise solutions
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing architectures and AI ethics frameworks
- Experience securing federal grants and private innovation funding ($10M+)
- Published research in top-tier journals/conferences (NeurIPS, Science, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation tools
