- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Create intellectual property portfolios covering breakthrough technologies
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and tech assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or technology innovation leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience with scenario planning and futures forecasting methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Portfolio demonstrating technology strategy implementations
