Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with 5-10 year impact potential
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable milestones
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research for next-gen tech applications
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage cross-functional teams in executing pilot programs for breakthrough technologies
- Establish KPIs for evaluating long-term technology investments and ROI
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AGI, nanotechnology, climate tech)
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking abilities
- Experience developing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Strong presentation skills with executive communication expertise
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic planning (e.g., CTP, CFIP) preferred
