Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology innovation strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integration, AGI)
- Architect cross-functional R&D roadmaps with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Partner with product teams to embed future-tech capabilities into customer solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused prioritization
- Build and lead global network of futurists and academic collaborators
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech foresight
- Proven track record scaling tech innovations from concept to market leadership
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum, neural interfaces, or synthetic biology
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex futures
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
- PMP or equivalent strategic certification preferred
- Experience building high-performing innovation ecosystems
