Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning tech innovation with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and deploy futuristic solutions
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage innovation budgets and ROI analysis for experimental projects
- Mentor junior researchers on future tech methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or sustainable tech
- Experience developing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Exceptional communication for technical and non-technical audiences
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
