Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing and generative AI
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic chips, spatial computing) and assess commercial viability
- Develop intellectual property portfolios and patent strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Present strategic frameworks to investors and executive leadership boards
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype next-gen solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching commercialized AI/quantum solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, biotech, or neurotech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering preferred
- Experience with technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and academic institutions
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
