You'll partner with C-suite executives to align technology investments with long-term business objectives while maintaining competitive advantage in rapidly evolving markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI, and sustainable infrastructure
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives bridging hardware, software, and biotech innovations
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech consortia
- Present technology insights to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Drive innovation sprints using agile methodologies for prototyping futuristic solutions
- Mentor junior technologists in emerging domains and ethical tech frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech domains
- Expertise in quantum computing, AI governance, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Proven track record of scaling experimental technologies to commercial viability
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of tech ethics frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Experience leading global innovation teams in matrix organizations
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry forums
- Proficiency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
