Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging tech with existing product ecosystems
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research for next-gen innovations
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present technology vision to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Drive adoption of emerging tech through internal education and thought leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech roles
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of translating tech trends into business opportunities
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working with agile development methodologies
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
