Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential (2026+)
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech innovations
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence for future tech landscapes
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate breakthrough solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish governance frameworks for responsible tech adoption
- Build and lead a future technologies task force
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning or technology innovation roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, Web3, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Exceptional analytical and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with global tech policy and ethical frameworks
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
