Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and company vision
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and advanced materials
- Identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Develop go-to-market strategies for futuristic products with 24-36 month horizons
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board of directors
- Mentor innovation teams in rapid prototyping and agile development methodologies
- Secure strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven roadmap execution
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful commercialization of futuristic technologies
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, academia, Fortune 500)
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
