Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026+ technology adoption across product lines and market segments
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis of emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Develop and present technology roadmaps with ROI projections and implementation frameworks
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track technology maturity curves
- Present insights to stakeholders through executive briefings and industry conferences
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with rigorous financial oversight
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends (showcase published reports)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI/ML, biotech, or quantum computing
- Experience scaling technology initiatives from concept to enterprise deployment
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making expertise
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) highly valued
