Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, metaverse) and assess commercial viability
- Develop and maintain a 3-5 year technology innovation roadmap aligned with organizational goals
- Design governance frameworks for ethical AI implementation and sustainable tech deployment
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate tech trends into product opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage R&D partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ensure compliance with evolving tech policies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/metaverse/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching technology initiatives with measurable ROI
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical concepts
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation (e.g., CFTE, SFI)
- Experience building and leading cross-disciplinary technical teams
- Strong understanding of ethical technology frameworks and regulatory compliance
