Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology roadmaps targeting 2026 adoption horizons for quantum computing, AI governance, and blockchain integration
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR convergence) to identify competitive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical capabilities with strategic business objectives
- Establish KPIs and success metrics for future technology pilots and implementations
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and integrate emerging startups into our innovation ecosystem
- Author thought leadership papers on the societal impact of 2026 technology paradigms
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for prototyping next-gen solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in emerging tech adoption cycles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Technology with focus on future studies
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, generative AI ethics, decentralized systems, or neurotechnology
- Published thought leadership on technology forecasting (IEEE, Harvard Business Review, etc.)
- Experience managing cross-functional innovation teams across global enterprises
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and technology maturity curve analysis
- Strong network connections with research institutions (MIT Media Lab, Stanford HAI, etc.)
- Fluency in technology policy frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act)
