Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech) for competitive advantage
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $10M+ R&D budget allocation for future-focused projects
- Drive sustainability initiatives in tech development lifecycle
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Expertise in at least two of: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or clean energy
- Experience with government innovation programs (e.g., ARPA-E, DARPA)
- Strong financial modeling for tech investment scenarios
- Published thought leadership in future technologies
- Security clearance preferred for federal collaboration projects
