Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI ethics, quantum applications, and climate tech
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation labs
- Present technology adoption strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of technology adoption lifecycle and innovation diffusion models
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience working in agile environments with rapid prototyping capabilities
