Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) with 2026 market-readiness potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and industry disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for technological disruption
- Present findings to executive leadership and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research pioneers
- Manage innovation portfolio with ROI-focused prioritization frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, horizon scanning)
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Strategic Foresight
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive communication skills
- Certification in technology innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CSTM)
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic technology transformation projects
